Browns have been appointed to deliver the School of Bioscience facility which is a two storey extension on an existing podium deck.
An architecturally unique structural steel frame extension which is sited on the existing two storey basement podium roof. The new building links three existing buildings and will be largely clad with a specialist framed bolted glass system with each panel being hexagonal in shape and of different colour.
The first floor will be fitted out for reception, lecture theatres and student refectory, the second floor will be administration offices and lecture suites.
