At the time when Browns commenced work at the Park Royal Hotel it was a small public house with rooms. The construction continued over a 5 year period with a number of phases resulting in a new large 4* hotel with conference and banqueting facilities and new leisure club.
Browns were responsible for all of the construction work during this period and delivered guest accommodation, staff welfare facilities, catering and communal areas along with the excellent conference and banqueting facilities and prestigious leisure complex.
Construction Challenges:
At all times during the 5 year construction period the existing hotel remained open and hence the logistical planning of ensuring operations could be maintained whilst also constructing new high class facilities was key. In addition to this the team were working on an occupied site and had to ensure that there was no disturbance to the hotel residents.
