Browns were appointed by Westbury Homes to construct Citi Peaks, a prestigious apartment complex in Didsbury Manchester.
The project involved the construction of 82 apartments ranging from 1 bedroom apartments to 3 bedroom apartments.
These stylish apartments were in blocks of building ranging from 4 storey to 6 storey.
The modern apartments had elevations of brick, render, cedar cladding with steel balustrading.
Construction Challenges:
The site for construction was adjoining a main line railway and station and therefore required collaboration with and monitoring from network rail surveyors through all stages of the project. Coupled with this the site was heavily contaminated and had to be capped. The ground was also madeup ground and so required extensive piling.
