Browns undertook the construction of a prestigious high technology car show room for the Ford Motor Company. In addition to the showroom the scheme also included mechanical workshops, administration facilities, staff welfare facilities, and also the landscaping of the site.
The completed showroom and workshops were delivered within a 12month construction programme and to a high standard specification.
Construction Challenges:
The site is located alongside a main railway line and busy station and hence construction methodology had to account for minimal impact on the railway operations. The project team worked alongside network rail staff and monitoring surveyors to check elements such as deflection levels during all stages of the project.
