Browns Is A Finalist In The 2010 Best Places To Work Awards

 

Browns are proud to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Crains Manchester 2010 Best Places to Work Awards. Companies from throughout the North West competed for the awards which included 4 categories based upon company size.


Browns were finalists in the ‘Big’ company category which was for companies with 26 to 50 employees.


Companies were judged based upon the results of employee surveys with the following key areas evaluated:


- Team effectiveness
- Retention probability
- Trust with co-workers
- Individual contribution
- Manager effectiveness
- Trust in senior leaders
- Feeling valued
- Work engagement
- People practices

At an awards ceremony on the 17th June 2010 Browns were presented with a certificate for their achievement in being ranked amongst the finalists.


Crain’s Manchester Best Places to Work Awards are designed to honour the area’s leading employers and recognises companies that go beyond the norm to foster and enjoyable and meaningful work environment for their employees.


Bill Murphy – Managing Director of Browns Construction Group Limited said, “being shortlisted as a finalist for this award is a great achievement for the company. It demonstrates our emphasis on staff development and retention and also on making sure we create a happy and enjoyable work environment for our staff.
